Hyjal is now a 5x Fun Server! We want you to play, test things out and have fun, not grind forever. Here is everything that changed today.

5x Fun Server

• 5x experience from kills, quests and exploring.
• 5x gold and 5x drop chances. A 44% drop is now 220%, so you get 2 or 3 instead of maybe none. A mob that dropped 2 silver now drops 10.
• 5x reputation.
• Free mount for everyone: every character has the Spectral Bear and can ride it from level 1. No trainer needed.
• Cheaper shop: Level 60 for 60 points (any character, from any level), profession boosts for 50, 10 gold for 5, 100 gold for 30, and a new 1000 gold for 120. Name, appearance, race and faction changes are half price.
• Invite rewards now pay out when your friend gets one character to level 20.
• Vendor prices are unchanged.

Fixes

• Mounts: you no longer fall off your mount the moment you ride into water. Your mount also stays on while you swim.
• NPCs: NPCs that walk around now carry on walking as soon as you close their window. Quest givers and vendors used to stand still for 3 minutes after you talked to them.
• Mining: veins can now be mined 2 to 4 times before they run out (they used to vanish after one), give 5x ore, and respawn 5x faster.
• Skinning: Young Wolves, Timber Wolves, Mottled Boars, Thistle Boars, Plainstriders, Nightsabers, Duskbats, Crag Boars and other starting-zone beasts can be skinned again. 27 creatures in total, including some on the new island.
• Looting: area looting is turned off. Each corpse is looted on its own, like in Classic.
• Rogues: Gouge now needs the target to be facing you.
• Quests: Seasoned Wolf Kabobs in Stormwind can be completed again. It now only needs 10 Lean Wolf Flanks, because the Stormwind Seasoning Herbs item does not exist in this version of the game.

Not a bug

• Priests: Devouring Plague and Fear Ward are racial priest spells in Classic (Undead and Dwarf), so other races do not see them at the trainer.

Still looking into

• We are also checking pets and the stable master for hunters, the bank, the Deadmines cannon and the Defias Traitor escort. If you run into these or anything else, open a ticket or send a bug report from the Help menu in game, and tell us where it happened.
